Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 19, 2026
At ResizeKit (accessible from https://yourdomain.com/), one of our fundamental priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information collected and recorded by ResizeKit and how we protect and handle that information.
1. The Zero-Upload Image Privacy Architecture
Unlike conventional online image editing tools that require file uploads to remote web servers, ResizeKit does not upload, transfer, process, or store your images on any server whatsoever.
- All image operations (reading, scaling, cropping, rotation, filter rendering, and file encoding) are executed exclusively within your device's web browser using native client-side HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript.
- Your photographs, graphics, artwork, and personal files never traverse the internet during editing.
- When you close your browser tab, all image buffers held in local RAM memory are immediately destroyed.
- EXIF metadata (such as GPS location coordinates, timestamp, and camera serials) is naturally stripped away during the client-side canvas rasterization process before you download your final image.
2. Information We Collect
ResizeKit does not require you to create an account, register, or provide your name, phone number, or billing information to use the service.
The only personal information we may receive occurs if you voluntarily contact us directly via email (e.g. at mstechyt.contact@gmail.com). In that event, we receive your email address, name, and any details you share within your message, which we use solely to respond to your inquiry.
3. Local Storage Usage
ResizeKit utilizes modern web browser localStorage to store your non-identifiable user preferences, such as:
- Your selected UI theme preference (Dark Mode or Light Mode).
- Your last selected platform preset and export format preference.
- Your cookie consent acknowledgment choice.
This information remains stored strictly on your local browser and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
4. Google AdSense & DoubleClick Cookies
We use third-party advertising vendors, including Google, to serve advertisements when you visit our website:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on ResizeKit.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to ResizeKit and/or other websites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
5. Log Files & Analytics
Like most static web hosts (e.g., Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, GitHub Pages), standard anonymous server logs may record your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. These logs are not linked to any personally identifiable information and are used solely for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking aggregate movements, and maintaining network security.
6. GDPR Privacy Rights (EEA & UK Users)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom have specific rights regarding their personal data:
- Right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
- Right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
- Right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data under certain conditions.
- Right to restrict or object to processing: You have the right to request restriction of processing or object to our processing of your personal data.
Because ResizeKit does not retain user databases, user accounts, or uploaded image files, we hold no user image data to access, rectify, or delete. If you make a request regarding email communications, we will respond within one month.
7. CCPA / CPRA Privacy Rights (California Residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents are entitled to:
- Request that a business disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data it has collected.
- Request that a business delete any personal data collected.
- Request that a business that sells or shares consumer personal data not sell or share that data. ResizeKit does not sell your personal data.
8. Children's Information Protection
Protecting children using the internet is paramount. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and monitor their children's online activity. ResizeKit does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child provided this kind of information on our website, please contact us immediately and we will promptly remove such information from our records.
9. Consent & Policy Updates
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We advise you to review this page occasionally for any changes.
